It Happened to Me With the Law of Attraction

I am a true believer in the law of attraction.  When I am in true alignment with my desires and truly believe that they will manifest, they always have. It happened to me!

When I reflect on dreams that have not yet manifested, I understand why.  This is because I have allowed real world thoughts to cast a shadow on my beliefs, allowing doubt to creep in to diminish my belief, but when I have stayed true to my belief, the universe has not let me down.

Below are three examples of manifestations that I definitely attribute to the law of attraction.  It happened to me, and it can happen to you.

My Rental Property

A few years ago, I needed to move house to a property nearer our office.  I had certain requirements and browsed loads of rental properties online looking for a suitable property.  I eventually found it.  It was perfect in every way.  In addition to meeting all my requirements, it had even more to offer and the price was just right.  Full of excitement I contacted the rental agent through the website but never heard anything back.  After numerous attempts at contacting the agent, I finally managed to get in touch with her and began the application process.

Within a couple of days I heard back from the agent with the bad news that my application was not successful.  Not only was I disappointed but I was stunned.  I truly believed the house was mine.  I was told there was an anomaly on my credit record and that the landlord had rejected my application because of this.  When looking into this anomaly I discovered this was something that I had disputed years ago and should have been removed.  I asked the agent to explain this to the landlord which she agreed to, and the wait began again.

Rental Property House

During this time I was suffering from severe elbow pain.  I was lying in the bath trying to soothe my elbow in the hot water when the agent phoned.  I could hear the conversation my husband was having with her.  Again it was no.  We could not have the property.  I remember the feeling I experienced as if it was yesterday.  It was not disappointment or frustration, it was a deep sense of knowing.  The smile on my face came from somewhere deep inside.  I knew that the property was mine and that somehow I would be living there soon.  I truly believed it.  When I think back on how I felt that day, lying in the bath, I am amazed.  I was so calm, so at peace and felt deeply connected to my source being despite what the real word was showing me.

To cut a long story short, I moved into the property and absolutely loved it.  It was everything I believed it would be.  But that’s not all.  After living there for just over a year the owner decided to sell, and guess who ended up buying it?  Me!

The Bus Out of Nowhere

In 2014, whilst on holiday in the USA, during our visit to San Fransisco, we decided to do the touristy hop on hop off bus that would take us all over the City.  As we were there for only two nights, this was an ideal way of seeing the main attractions.  It was quite an overcast day and after about an hour on the bus, we decided to get off at the Golden Gate Bridge.  The plan was to spend about half an hour there, use the restrooms and take some photos and then get on the next bus to continue the trip to finally get off at the waterfront in time to do the Alcatraz tour at 6pm which we had previously booked, which we were all looking forward to.

However, no more hop off hop on buses arrived at the Golden Gate Bridge.  It turned out that there was a major traffic incident and that no traffic could get in or out around the bridge and this included taxis too.  What to do?  It was almost five o’ click and we decided to walk.  We had no idea where we were going.  We just walked.   No cars were moving.  Everything was backed up and we just walked.  We were actually laughing about the experience.  We were not frustrated or panicked that we would miss the Alcatraz tour, but just put one foot in front of the other with no real idea where we were going.

After about 15 minutes we found ourselves in a residential neighbourhood.  Lovely homes with USA flags surrounded us, a part of the City we would not have seen if we were not on this walk.

We followed the road past the homes and at this time I began to get tired.  No cars had passed us in all this time.   Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a small bus appeared.  My son waived down the bus and it stopped.  The driver opened the door.  We asked where the bus was going and would you believe it, it was going exactly where we needed to be.  We asked how much it cost and it was free!  We jumped on and could hardly believe our luck.  As we drove in the direction of the pier there were still no cars on the road for about 5 minutes.  Only this bus!

Bus out of nowhere

Needless to say we arrived at the pier with about 10 minutes to spare for our Alcatraz trip.

The Visa

In 2017 my family and I moved back to the UK.  We all had British passports so this was no problem, however, my one year old grandson did not.  As my daughter had gained her British passport through descent, my grandson was not automatically entitled to UK citizenship.

We would have to go through a detailed process to apply for his citizenship which could take up to 6 months.  We decided to get him a visitor’s visa which would be valid for six months and then on arrival in the UK, to get in the citizenship application process.

When my grandson arrived in the UK he only had three months left on his visitor’s visa.  We had applied too early having been told it could take some months to get approved.  Anyway as soon as he arrived his parents submitted the citizenship application forms and were told it would probably take six months.  With only three months remaining on his visitor’s visa this could have been a major problem.

Weeks went by.  No news.  Phone calls were made to ascertain the status of the application but nothing was told to us.  I began to visualise his UK certificate arriving in the post.  I saw his UK passport in my mind and believed it would all work out.

More weeks went by.  And nothing.  Two days remained on his visa.  What were we to do?

The day before his visa was due to expire, which was approximately 12 weeks since initially applying, I knew we would receive it that day.  The post normally is delivered about 11am each morning.  We have two Golden Retrievers who in the past have eaten the post.  So about 10.30 I went downstairs, and put the dogs outside to make sure the certificate would not be damaged.  I was so sure it would be arriving.  This knowing came from within.

Got Visa

Just after 11am I heard the letter box clank and ran downstairs and there, on the matt, was a brown envelope from Her Majesty’ Government, addressed to my grandson.  As neither of his parents were home at the time, I opened it immediately and there it was, just as I had expected, his UK Citizenship certificate.  And the next day, the day his visitor’s visa expired, his UK passport arrived!

In all the examples above, I was calm and believed that everything would work out.  I did not worry or put negative energy upon the situations.

Apart from having these lovely memories which I enjoy replaying over and over again in my mind, the reassurance that a higher power is with me, has my back, is the greatest manifestation that ever was.

Yes, it happened to me, with the Law of Attraction!

About the Author Holly Bennett

I am a firm believer in the Law of Attraction. The phrase Law of Attraction often seems to most people as an unrealistic, wishful thinking idea, not at all based in our reality. But to me, it's everything - it's lining up with the God source energy, believing God is there for you and having faith in his love for me.
